This week flew by so fast!!
SO i thought i was lucky here. I made almost to the end of my mission without eating Menudo, a delicacy of some in the latin cultures. I was so close. 3 weeks left until one sweet kind hermana in our ward made us lunch one day. happened to be menudo.. basically. cow stomach in a soup. yep. as you can imagine. wasn't very tasty.
Our ward had the Christmas party this week. the food there was super delicious! and they had a little program that was super cute almost everyone participated.and a bunch of our less actives were there. it was so good to see them, and a few even came to church on sunday :)
so with the people that we're teaching we have some really cool recent converts in the ward from Argentina. they told us that they are moving back to Argentina in February, but she already has the directions to the church along with the Bishops information so that they can keep in contact. we're going to miss them a ton.
along with that our investigator Maria is getting ready to sell her house to move back with her family to Nicaragua.
We have this investigator who we had been to her house 3 times. we got the referral from the english elders said that she was a member- Fina Moya. so we went to visit. said she wasn't a member. we thought that was interesting. so we started teaching her. and i said the opening prayer and after we said amen. she said, I have to tell you something. i'm not Fina Moya. We were a little shocked that she had finally told us that she was Martha. and her sister was fina she also lived there and was her sister. oh my. we laughed a lot about that.
ok. well. i cant concentrate. sorry! but the good news- i'll talk to you tomorrow :)
