Hola como estan familia y amigos?

Sorry for the scare last week. should have thought about how sending an email on tuesday and making the subject line "I survived" don't really go well together.

We had dinner with a less active and his non member wife from Argentina. before i came Hermana Judd and Love tried to stop by and visit them, but they basically told them they didn't want missionaries over. now we are friends! they fed us a delicious argentian dinner. and Hermano has been coming to church! not exactly our ward, but the ward he used to go to back in the day. our next goal is for him to come to our ward.

This week was so great! remember how last week a bunch of our people came to church? well. this week. Maria and Yorlenny AND her other daughter Yarelli came to church! They love church! and Yarelli and Yorlenny LOVE primary! we had a lesson with them last night, we started watching the Joseph Smith Movie. we wanted Freddy, their dad to watch too, but he was busy doing something, but came in right after the first vision. he started watching and then started asking us a bunch of questions, so we paused the movie and answered his questions which were many. He actually shared his doubt with us about the Book of Mormon. no one comes right out and shares their doubts, but he did (good for us, now we know how to help him) he believes in the bible and wants to know where it talks about the BoM in the Bible, Maria is super solid though! and you can tell she wants so much for Freddy to learn and understand what she knows. and we're getting ready for Yorlenny to be baptized on the 4th! It's going to be great!

Felix came to church! early as always! he's made quite a few friends in the ward, we haven't taught him in a week or 2, but we will soon!

AND! Jose and Claudia came to church! Jose is an investigator that the english elders gave to us and Claudia is his friend who is less active.

We went to go visit la familia Rios who i haven't seen in so long. in my first and second transfer we would see them about 2x a week and now we've only seen one of the daughters 2 or 3 times since hermana Dupuis has been here. We went to go visit on sunday. Karla was home. told us her mom was on the way We were super excited to see her. and then! her daughter and her family walked in <-- we also haven't seen them in so long! LOVE those days!

After this we visited a hermana in Baldwin Park, she is thinking about switching over to the english ward just because her family understands english better, speaking of the english ward, the elders from that ward stopped by. they shared a message with her that she exactly needed to hear. they didn't know her situation, but had a scripture exactly for her.
