HOLA! Como estan?!
So... Yorlenny got baptized! it was great! the service was a little
hectic. it was right after church on a fast sunday. everyone was
hungry, but it was so great! all her family was there to support her
it was so great!
 
Remember how for Estefanys baptism we filled up the font all the way,
turned off the water and then realized it was draining? So.. yesterday
the elders filled up the font for us. I asked them if it was draining?
they told me no, i think its ok... well... they turned off the water
and it was draining :s AHH!!! so they kept the water running up until
Yorlenny got in the water. Her uncle baptized her and when he got in,
he stopped the drain. when he got out, he unplugged it, but the water
didn't go anywhere. ay yi yi. so... leave it to the sister
missionaries. we got the job done. Hna Dupuis might have gotten a tiny
bit wet, but no big deal. and yes. the water finally went down.
 
speaking of la familia Ortiz. remember how last week was Hermana
Dupuis' b-day? well.. la familia ortiz didn't forget. and Remember how
Hna Dupuis knows all the family from the azuza ward? well they had a
little surprise party. it was so great! we had a little FHE and then
some cake  and it was good times!
We had a tour with Ezekiel and his family this week. have i mentioned
ezekiel before? dont remember... anyways.. he lives in the back part
of a house of a less active we teach, (actually his wifes family)  we
met him while looking for our less active and now we are teaching him.
He has 4 kids. 14,11,8, and 4 he lost his wife 3 years ago to cancer
and he's doing everything he can to support his family. they came on a
tour! it was so great! we asked them to be baptized and the kids were
all super excited about it, but Ezekiel needed more time. so we'll
continue to work with this family and help them be an eternal family
one day.
Cutest thing ever! we were at this less actives house yesterday where
Ezekiel and his family live. we were just talking to Luz (his mother
in law) while she was making food. and the 2 youngest daughters came
in Briza, and Naomi, with their book of mormons. It was SO CUTE! Hna
Dupuis and i were planning on visiting other people, but we couldn't
pass up a moment like that to read with them. Naomi is 4 and cant
read, but she sat there and looked at the book with us, AHH! SO CUTE!
