Hola!

This week has been so great!

So we ended up not having 2 people get baptized on sunday. Remember how Ana last week didn't feel ready to get baptized? well... monday she changed her mind again. So we had 3 people get baptized! She told us that she had prayed and prayed and feels like that is the right decision. It was such a great service! the whole family was there to support and it was great!

We went to another baptism for a lady in one of the english wards that we had met the day before (Sister Zamora taught her a lesson with the elders once) She texted us and asked us if we would be there to support her and help her out AND to meet her son and his kids who introduced her to the church. Of course we couldn't say no to that. LOVE baptisms! Starting their new journey on the path to eternal life.

Sunday a member of our mission presidency spoke in Sacrament Meeting. Pres. Lew. I had no idea he knew spanish, but He went to medical school in Mexico, so he knows a little bit. He told us before sacrament that he wasn't going to try his spanish, but with a little encouragement he did it! about half of his talk was in spanish and he did so well! Made me think. DANG! if he can do it! I can do it. which i will get the opportunity to do next sunday. ehh! Scary! I can do it!

The work in La Canada is picking up. we met Joan- she is the neighbor of some members who have helped her a lot. she was at the dinner appt we had this week and had so many questions and has seen how happy she be with the gospel in her life. we commited her to baptism, and said she would seriously consider it. So we are working with her- She's ready! She came to the baptism saturday and it was like every speaker was speaking to her, she also came to chuch on sunday. She LOVED it.

Yesterday Hermana Zamora woke up with a bad back and could hardly walk. good thing for trio's and ward members. I was able to go out with Allie Palmer a member of the La Canada ward. she just got back from her mission 2 weeks ago from Montreal. She spoke French, English, and spanish on her mission! CRAZY! but she came out with me for part of the day and we got a new investigator out of it. so we did good :)

This morning we woke up at 2:30 yep. AM. went with most of the zone to the LA temple! SO GREAT! A member from the sunland ward took us and he's a genius with the gospel. so basically we learned a lot. The LA temple is GEORGOUS! I LOVE IT! you always run into someone you know at the temple right?

Ran into my phi friend Sister Janice Wilkinson serving in the Ventura mission. so good to see her! looks like she's LOVING her mission.
