So i thought i might start off with a joke. Every morning before Satan goes to bed he checks under his bed for Jeffrey R. Holland. ha ha!
ok so the last few emails have been pretty boring. because i think nothing exciting has happened. but this is not true! i have lots to say. but first. my companion knows how you feel now ha ha. i started talking while she was sleeping telling her to get out of bed. i said Krejci! get out of bed! like 10 times. and i wont do this anymore because now they all make fun of me. sorry mom! ha ha ha. I too also call it a good night when i can go to bed at 10, even better before 10.
Thanks for all the dearelders! I love them all. thanks for keeping me up to date with world events. i dont really know anything. so more random facts are always great :)
so we'll do this in a journal formatish kind of way.
Tuesday- yes after my last email. i got a letter from Cass.CONGRATS!!!! i will be expecting pics soon! The tuesday night devotional was with Elder and Sister Zivic. They talked about Obedience. It's something i'm working on all the time. but like i said in my last email. Obedience does really bring blessings and it really does make you happy!
Wednesday- We had TRC (Training Recource Center) We give lessons to people we have never met before in Espanol. they are usually members, but we give them a short lesson. We used 1 Nep 8:10-12 and compared it to Alma 5:62. How its so important to Share the gospel with everyone around us, thats what Lehi wanted. One of the guys we taught- David, wrote down on our review sheet thing that we had a great spirit and we were the best of the day :) thats always good to hear. We did companionship inventory on Wednesday. I learned something about myself! When i'm talking to people i roll my eyes. Did anyone ever know this and not tell me?! i had no idea! It's a bad habit that i need to break like yesterday!
They usually give you binders to help keep you organized when you come to the MTC, but they stopped giving those 2 weeks before i came, but good thing for the giveaway box. you find lots of good stuff in there! I got a binder and i am now a lot more organized than i was before. Speaking of the giveaway box, right before i did my laundry today a bunch of stuff went in the giveaway box including a box of dryer sheets. I got really excited! It might be better than Christmas.
Thursday- So remember how i said before that i feel like i'm living with like a thousand teenage boys? yeah. well that is still true, but they all have an amazing gift. the gift of the priesthood! on Thursday one of the Hermanas needed a blessing and these Young men (no or little experience in giving blessings ) gave the most beautiful powerful blessings and the words they said were exactly what the people recieving the blessings needed. it was SO AMAZING!! I love the priesthood! I've decided we talk to God through prayer, but he talks to us through blessings. It's pretty cool!
Friday- soo we were supposed to wake up early and go do our service project in the Sr couples housing (we got SO lucky! we get to clean the sr couples rooms after they leave, and those people aren't messy) yeah so we were supposed to be there at 6:05 but the alarm didnt go off :s we got a knock on the door at like 6:20. and we made a mad dash across the MTC to do our service project. Yeah.. You know you're at the MTC when you wake up at 6:20 and you've slept in :s
OH OH! I memorized the first vision in english and then in spanish and i said it in a lesson! it was AMAZING!!! The spirit always testifies that that is true. How can it not be? eh no se...
oh! mi companera is now Hermana Alverez. Her real last names are hyphenated, but her DL says Alverez so they were worried about the travel stuff. Its easier for people to say, but she's still always going to be Krejci to me. She did let me keep one of her nametags. ha ha. i will always remember that one time i spent 9 weeks with hma. krejci.
Saturday and sunday were great. ha ha!
Yesterdays highlights. um it was like 9:45 and the firealarm went off. so. some girl was cooking a hashbrown in the microwave and left it in there a lot too long. :s we were all upset because we all wanted to go to bed before 10:30 ha ha. didnt happen last night.
OH! and one last thing. i got a letter yesterday and someone taught me that if you spell "Socks" in spanish it means "It is what it is" --> (eso si que es) Now you know spanish!! YAY!
FOR reals one last thing. I'm getting backlogged at writing letters back to some people. REALLY sorry! there just isn't enough time in the day, but keep writing! i will respond eventually! dont worry! :)
