hola!‏ January 23rd Letter

Hi! This week was great! you all are probably curious. piano
lessons... they're going well... we get different people each time.
I've started teaching hermana Dupuis and now she can teach the little
ones. We've gotten a few church tours out of piano which is FABULOUS!
including la familia Coria. Maria, the less active and her family. Her
husband enjoyed it and we've been teaching her daughters Yorlenny and
Yareli. Yorlenny just turned 10 and she accepted a date yesterday for
the Feb. 12! She has to bring her family to church every week up until
her baptism if she gets baptized then. We're hoping this will happen!
Yareli turns 8 in september and she knows she wants to get baptized
when she turns 8 too. The girls are so cute and they are learning and
asking questions every time we are there. Yareli even took her friend
a book of mormom and they've been reading together! CUTE!
 
One of the investigators of the elders got baptized on saturday! Omar
walked into the church and found the elders 3 months ago. His
testimony is so strong! um... He's the future stake president. i can
see it now! he's amazing!
 
Hermana Dupuis and I have been visiting people in the ward that we
still dont know. we're new... but we visited a less active originally
from Argentina and his wife who's not a member. Los Ortalani's He's so
cool! uses his hands when he talks and has a sweet accent. we invited
him to stake conference and he told us he didn't think he had anything
to do so he would come. and he came! It was so great! All he needed
was an invite. thats all people need sometimes.. just an invite.
 
Speaking of Stake conference it was pretty sweet. It was a satelite
broadcast from SLC with Elder Perry and Sister Thompson and... 2
others for all of southern california. It was pretty sweet!
