This is January 30 Letter

Hola! Como estan?! this week was good!
Cool story! So last monday night we had 3 lessons in a row. but the
first one went long. we had to run to our car to grab something for
our investigator and gave it to them, came back out and their was a
guy standing on the steps (it's an apartment building) we started
talking to him, His name is Eddy. anyways.. we were talking to him and
we told him what church we were from. He asked us are you guys
mormons? we said Yes! He asked if we had any material he could read.
(OF COURSE!) he then went on to tell us that he used to be a member,
but just stopped going, and he remembers how he felt when he went and
would like to go back. It was so cool! But he doesn't speak spanish so
we had to give him to the english elders, but esta bien. We've seen
him a few times since then, and he seems happier. It's so cool how
sometimes God just puts people in your path like that. We were in the
right place at the right time we were supposed to be somewhere else.
So Fridays are dont use your car day right? so... we thought about
taking the bus to the church because they were having some sports
activity at the church, we saw busses, but couldn't find a stop. ha
ha. so... we walked to the church. 3 miles? not bad. we stopped and
talked to a few people along the way. we met one lady who was cleaning
in an office. she invited us in and told us she was in the chino ward.
(thats in our stake) we were about to leave and she said See You
tuesday! (we were so confused) whats tuesday? She said, for the
birthdays for the birthdays! Still... super confused. then we
remembered that zone conference is on tuesday and yes. we celebrate
birthdays. ha ha. It will be great! So we walked to the church and
played a sweet game of volleyball with some of the members and then
one took us home (we were grateful!)
So we taught primary on sunday. all about how we have choices. It was
great times! after we were done they were waiting for the YW to come
in and teach them. They dont have a piano player, so i started playing
some of the songs. and it looks like i'm going to play the piano in
primary for singing time now.. uh.. wish me luck!
