Hola!! Como estais? Sorry about not emailing last week. no time :s but no worries i'll keep you up to date.
So transfer calls came. Hermana Judd went to Azuza and i stayed here Hermana Dupuis is my new companion. before she left though we celebrated new years at a stake fiesta. and then we rang in the new year Virginia time. 9 PM here 12 AM virginia. Good times. So when we drove to arcadia to switch companions we had ALL of Hermana Judds luggage and 2 bikes. Because mine broke! i rode 200 feet and it broke. it's fixed now just in time for dont use your car fridays. anyways somehow we managed to fit it all in the car with the help of Estefany. after we fit it all in the car there was hardly any room for me. Have you ever seen A VW Bus how the person is right at the window? Yeah.. that was me. but no worries i had a seat belt and we made it safely there.
Anyways... Hermana Dupuis been out the same amount of time as Hermana Judd, they were companions in the MTC, but she's great! She was born in Canada, she always says "eh" its great! immigrated to NYC with her family when she was younger. and now she's here. I'm ALWAYS laughing. she's hilarious. i love Transfers also because now we have an excuse to get to know the members in our area. So it's good. Oh and did i mention i'm driving. yeah! it's pretty exciting.
lets see... whats happened in the last 2 weeks? Estefany got confirmed!! it was so great!
We are neighbors now with la familia florez. we helped them move into the apartment downstairs from us. it got done pretty quick with 6 missionaries helping. We also found out last night that some other members just moved into an apartment in our building. 3 brothers who are just trying to get reactivated. They've realized the difference the gospel makes in their lives and that you need it constantly.
We started teaching Rosa's daughter, Rosa. (her bro's Rigo and David just got baptized) she has a lot of questions that we're trying to answer for her.
We had language training and President Becerra told us we should be having a baptism a week, so... we need to work a little bit harder. but our goal right now is working with the members, because the best missionaries are member missionaries.
2 weeks ago hermana Judd and i were driving to go visit someone and we almost thought about not going, but we decided to go and we saw Rafi! Remember rafi? the really cool guy who we met like my first transfer. We were able to talk with him for a little bit, he was going through a difficult time and when he saw us i think he felt a peace. and we almost decided not to go. Oh i also learned last week that even though things dont make sense in your head and the spirit prompts you and prompts you to do something. DO IT! You may think its a little wierd, but God knows why someone needs us at a certain time.
Sorry! this is all over the place. No time. such is the life of a misionera. but have a FABULOUS week!
