Hola! I hope you all had a fabulous week and a fabulous Christmas.
Christmas was AMAZING! Estefany got baptized before church. Hermana Judd and I woke up a little early, read some scriptures, and then opened presents. Thanks everyone! for the sweet gifts.
Anyways... we had to be to the church at 7:30 to fill up the font. yeah. it takes about 2 hours. So when we turned off the water we heard the water draining! AHHH!!!! so turns out the drain doesn't really work that well. The Ward Mission leader happened to mention that to us after the fact. but we finally got it fixed, Estefany was just baptized in cooler water than usual. but it was great! there really is no other way to spend christmas.
Also so great to talk to mis padres y cass and Nick on skype. oh and coco. glad ya'll are doing well!
We have been learning how to make tamales this week. They are so delicious. They are a ton of work though, but definitely worth it.
Funny spanish mistake of the week- Hermana Rios was calling for her daughter karla to come over to her, Karla didn't hear, so I tried to get her attention. i said "Karla, su mama le quiere" which really means Karla, your mom loves you. ha ha. which is true, but not the point i was trying to get across. only Hermana Judd heard. thank goodness. yep. still learning.
Sorry this is short, i thought i wasn't going to email this week, but look here i am, and of course i didn't write anything down. and of course i'll remember everything after i'm done emailing, but the work is coming.
Transfers are next week, which means i wont be training anymore, which also means i could get a new companion, which is CRAZY! but dont worry, i'll let ya know what happens.
