Hola! Como estan?!
Ok so something i learned this week, no one in mexico celebrates cinco de mayo. yeah. it's just an american holiday. probably someone who wanted a good excuse to eat some chips and salsa? eh. fine by me.
This week.. oh! Transfer calls were saturday morning. they've never ever left a trio together for more than one transfer. So we were expecting a call. We recieved the call just to let Sister Zamora know she was the new zone sister (for the sisters in English work) and we're staying in a trio another transfer! It will be great!
we're working hard and seeing amazing things happening every day.
So remember Pearl? of course! we actually went to vist her saturday. the first time we went her mom was not very nice to us. she was coming to answer the door and we were super worried, but she was really nice, she basically gave us the ok to come back too, Pearl is still deciding what church she wants to join.. :) and we actually talked to Pearl saturday night and she said she would be free this week to have a lesson. We're still working with Joan. we're making a plan so that she can overcome her addictions and eventually be baptized at the end of june on her birthday.
Still working with Jennifer She's still thinking about baptism, but she's almost ready. Her Dad came in to the room when we were teaching the other day and let us know that whatever makes her happy he is ok with. What an awesome dad!
Dago was supposed to be baptized yesterday, but he just felt he wasn't ready. We know he's ready, but there's just something holding him back. we went over all the baptismal interview questions and he answered them all perfectly. we're not exactly sure what's holding him back, but he did come to church with his whole family yesterday. His dad bore his testimony and in it he told his son not to be scared of being happy. BAM! we're going to continue to work with him. he's close.
