Watch out for the bear!

Hola!

This week was interesting. We had just woken up on wednesday and we got a call from Sister Broberg (we live in their pool house) so. her neighbor across the street went outside to go walking when she saw a huge brown bear running across her lawn. uh... we thought we just had to worry about coyotes. but now brown bears too. the good news is he hasn't been spotted since. i'll let you know what happens. :)

hmm... Hna Zamora nos pego la gripa. or in other words. Hermana Zamora decided to share her cold this week. that was so nice of her! but we're getting better.

So we're teaching Alison- have i shared much about her? She's AMAZING! her boyfriend is a less active member who is trying to get active again and they have a daughter together. Good news. they don't live together and they are planning on getting married soon! and she's getting baptized on friday! we're so excited for Alison and Brady! they're on the way to an eternal family!

I seriously am impressed with our investigators! Alison went out of town this weekend so she couldn't make it to church, but she texted us yesterday morning saying "Are there any readings i could do while i'm here? even though i cant be at church i still want to be involved with the gospel today" WOW!! are jaws seriously dropped. We LOVE Alison!

This week we had a lesson with Hugo and Gabby (father and daughter), and Jasmine another daughter was listening in while doing hw. anyways. The sisters have been teaching them for a while now. they all love the teachings, they are just not sure who is going to take the first step of baptism, but we read 1 nephi 8 with them and showed them the picture of the tree of life. they loved the lesson! It seriously left them thinking about how the invitation is always there. they just need to come partake of the fruit. Gabby texted us 2 days later and said she loved the lesson and wanted to know what we were going to talk about next time so that she could prepare. (WOW!) Gabby is 14! i'm so impressed!

We're still working with Joan! She's been drug/coffee free for 3 weeks now!! She's doing so great! She loves learning still and still has so many questions! WE LOVE JOAN!

Dago- his whole family are members and they seriously want this for him- it's his dads greatest desire to become a complete eternal family. Dago knows its true! He still needs a sign or something and we've hit a wall. so we decided to give him a break. he needs it. we need it. we are always so frustrated when we leave his house, but one day soon. he'll be ready!

chiste of the week.

Sometimes things come out of my mouth before i think. but last sunday our gospel principles teacher showed us a picture of her cat helping her with the sunday school lesson.

we were eating dinner with her on wednesday, and we were talking about how the kids had to check on the cat outside after they heard about the bear. she asked why the cat wasn't inside and i said. Who likes cats?! As i was saying this i remembered sunday and was like oh shoot! uh.. i mean... cats inside... uh.... the dog! the dog doesn't get along with the cat. yeah! thats it. ha ha
