HEY family and friends! I feel like it's been forever!

Oh my Chino. where to begin... I went on exchanges to San Gabriel with Hermana Anderson and Hermana Zamora came to Chino. It was so fun, kind of quiet seen as Hermana Zamora took the phone with her to Chino. oops. earlier that week i was thinking how nice it would be to not have a phone for a day. well.. it was nice, but we figured we kind of needed a phone just in case, and luckily we were close enough to the mission office to go back and get one.

Anyways.. in San Gabriel we did some contacting, taught a less active who actually taught us how she sews, and taught me how to crochet a little bit. It was super difficult! i'm not sure if i have the patience for that, but i finally got it down in the end. We visited some members in San Gabriel and Wow! they have so much faith and you can tell they truly love the gospel. While i was in San Gabriel the hermanas here were dropping investigators. So they had a lesson with Ana. and we were figuring there was something stopping her, but we couldn't figure out what. but she cant accept the book of mormon, so as of now we aren't teaching her, but i know that she'll get baptized in the future. They also had a lesson with Alfredo and Dolores. Have i told you about them? Alfredo is a recent convert of a couple months and Dolores is his wife who comes to church and participates probably more than he does. She wants to get baptized, but needs more time, so they dropped her too. They DID find a potential that we had been trying to contact for a while at home, and they did have a lesson with her. We'll see how it goes with Olivia. So. we're kind of starting from scratch, but it's all good! we have found some really cool potentials.Bishop has been talking about how we need more priesthood holders in the ward, so serioiusly all the people we have come in contact with have been some men that have a ton of potential. And! we were walking down the street in Pomona on Sunday night and we started talking to this man named Charlie- turns out he's from Honduras and was baptized there 4 years ago. he moved her with his family about 2 years ago. ahh!!! SWEET!

We are getting closer to the parents of William. Hermana taught us how to make mole chapin. i dont even know if thats how you spell it, but it's basically fried bananas in this liquified sauce of abuelita, tomatoes, peppers, other spices, and yeah. it was pretty delicious. we hope to start teaching them more soon.

Happy service story of the week! Friday after weekly planning we were biking down the street Hermana Judd, Randall, and Dupuis in the back. Hermana Judd and I pass this lady gardening on the corner- Hermana Dupuis the good missionary she is asks hey! do you need some help? the lady says "Si!" We're like REALLY?! ha ha. no one ever says yes to sister missionaries helping you garden in skirts, but luckily enough we were able to spend the next hour and a half helping this cute little lady garden, she says she's going to invite us over for enchilidas soon. yum! She also tried to invite us to her church for her healing prayer in corona.. uh.. sorry. out of the mission.

How about that relief society broadcast? it was fabulous! the atonement is something so important, but we all need to be reminded of its importance. Speaking of important things President Gutierrez came back to the ward to talk to us again. we needed a reminder again of our power as missionaries- we must be bold and we will see miracles. And i was kind of studying that this week. It's all about faith. You have to have faith to see a miracle, not see a miracle to gain faith.

The temple trip was today- it was amazing! I LOVE the temple! it's so peaceful. I LOVE IT! we asked a member to take us on sunday- he sells cars and he told the elders that he needed to sell 2 so he could take us. The Elders said, alright what kind of cars are they? and he told them- they said allright, we'll pray. so.. yesterday around 6PM he called the elders and asked what time are we going to the temple? eh eh. faith+prayer = miracles. If that member wouldn't have taken us we decided we were going to take the train from pomona to LA and then the bus from LA to Santa Monica. and who knows where we'd be right now if we did it that way. ha ha.

I'm SUPER excited for conference this weekend! It's going to be AMAZING! **Hermana Randall conference challenge- write down a question of your soul. pray to recieve the answer you seek during conference. see what happens!
