Happy Halloween

HELLO!!! It's been a great week here! still warm and loving it. I can't believe tomorrow is November!!! CRAZY!!!

Good news we knocked doors less and taught more this last week.

We are teaching Estephany- she is 15 and she really wants to get baptized, but her mom doesn't want her to. she wants her to be sure she's ready but she started being taught in August and she knows its true. Her mom said if she still wanted to by the end of the year she would let her. (and she said that before i got here) We're shooting for December 4th! (Pray for her mom!)

OH! Hermana Judd and I decided we want to make a goal to have a baptism a week in December. We totally think this is possible. and now that i've told you all i really want to accomplish this goal. and goals are best accomplished when written down right? Yep. right.

We asked Felix this week, but he still doesn't have his memory all the way back yet, but every time we teach he's remembering more and more.

We're also teaching a man named Ramido. He keeps all of his commitments and has a strong desire to learn more. He's not married to his girlfriend, but he really wants to be. All he has to do is translate his birth certificate into English and then they can get married. (we're hoping for him to be baptized in december too!)

We had a mission tour this week. Elder Walker came and spoke to us and gave us some really good ideas. Like lending out books of mormon to people. that way you're for sure to have a return appointment to talk more about it. We did this with a man we met knocking named Rafi. He speaks English so we have to give him to the english elders, but he's from Pakistan and he was beaten when he was younger by his teachers because he didn't believe in what they were teaching. He goes to church with his wife (She's catholic) and he prays to God everyday and he knows that he always answers prayers. He wanted to come to church, but had to work. I think he definitely has a strong desire to learn more.

There is the cutest family in our ward. Hermana Gueverra. her mother who has alzheimers lives with them as well as her daughter and her son- Oscarito who is like 3. They are so funny with each other! After a lesson on thursday night Hermana Gueverra gave us milk and cookies and her Mom came in and she asked her "Ma, quiere galletas o platano?" (want some cookies or a banana?) and she said cookies. Oscarito said "No galletas para Usted!" (no cookies for you!) so funny! then we asked him what she could have and he said "Sopa!"- Soup. It was so funny!  I couldn't stop laughing and i wasn't able to finish my milk :s

Friday we stopped by a part member family and i think i found an amigo for Dad! Bro. Lueveno works with trains. he rescues them when they are broken and he collects them and cars too! these 2 would be able to share stories for hours i'm sure!

We had a ward halloween party on saturday night. I was a missionary! actually i was Hermana Judd. it was good times! we painted cute things on kids faces.

Also got a package from Reed and Mairlyn! GRACIAS!! the mailman told us we had other packages we needed to go get from the post office, but when we went we didnt have any. so if someone sent me a package and it came back. very sorry!

PS   totally forgot to add this, but the Elders in our ward had a baptism yesterday! Fernando Got baptized!!
YAY baptisms!!!
