HEY! It's my birthday! It's p- day. it's going to be great! Hermana Mulitalo decorated my corner and made me breakfast. super cute! We're going to JPL soon. that would be the Jet propulsion labratory, where nasa does their stuff. we're excited!
So this week seriously probably the hardest week ever! my patience was tested as well as faith and yeah. it was crazy! and it was SUPER HUMID. uhh... it was gross.
We've had a misunderstanding with the Elders, but it's now been fixed so we're all good, but that was kind of a problem this week, We talked to Kenny this week and he said to us, You know sisters... I've been thinking about this and i can't give up coffee, my social drinking every once in a while, and i cant afford to pay my tithing. I was so bummed to hear it, but we're still working with him to hopefully get him to baptism one day soon.
but through everything that happened suprisingly Joan was there for us always asking what we need, we had a lesson with her and when she prayed, seriously best prayer for us. loved it. Joan will hopefully be baptized on Sunday. we're excited. she's come a long way since we first met her.
This week we had mission conference. we're so grateful that we can meet all together as a mission. not many missions in the world that can do that. we listened to a few speakers and then had a game day. it involved water, and yeah. we all got wet. but it was good to see all the missionaries.
On saturday some of Hermana Mulitalos recent converts got married in Hacienda Heights. it was another mini mission reunion. basically all the hermanas were there to support them and 2 other hermanas and i felt a little out of place as we didn't really know anyone there. we were the wedding crashers. its true. but President becerra was there and we had the opportunity to talk to him and get some advice and wisdom from our UHmazing mission president.
