Transfer news! I'm staying with Hermana Mulitalo here in Tujunga and La Canada. we've never been in a companionship longer for 2 transfers, so we'll see how it goes :) Hermana Zamora is going to the other side of the mission to Hacienda Heights. we'll miss her, and so will everyone else. ha ha. we told our Recent convert Ana that she was leaving and she said to Hna Zamora- Hermana, I dont want to offend your companions but could they send someone who speaks spanish? I cant understand them. ha ha! ouch! uh. we'll just pray really hard that she'll understand.
We had exchanges again this week- Hermana Zamora went to creekside (the samoan ward) and Sister Filimoehala came here, yes so it was, Sister Filimoehala, Sister Mulitalo, and Sister Randall. a tongan, samoan and a blonde. no joke. but it was so fun! I got the transfer news a little bit early while we were on exchanges president called to talk about one of our Less active members that we want him to meet, we wanted them to meet this week because of transfers, but President told me how it's super hard to keep trio's together, but that 2 of the 3 of us would be together next transfer. so no surprises really.
Although we're not transferring, we are moving. WE Are SOOOOOOOOOOO sad to leave our cute little pool house in La Canada. we're moving kind of in the middle of our 2 areas to live with family in La Crescenta just in their upstairs room. Missionaries have lived in our house for a year. you can imagine. there's kind of a lot of random stuff that we have to get rid of, along with all the candy in the candy drawer. we're going to miss it a TON! but we'll live!
We taught Dago again this week- we've given him a break, but went back to see him- It was an interesting lesson to say the least. but we'll have an FHE testimony meeting with his family soon, see if that helps any, if not. who knows...
Belkis and Robert- have i mentioned them? Robert was a less active who just moved here with his family and they wanted to find a church and robert remembered he was a member of the mormon church and just showed up one day. They went back to florida for 3 weeks to find work. they came back this week to pack up and move back to Florida for good :( we'll send good missionaries over there to them!
continuing on with this moving business Imelda finally moved into new apartment- the one we found for her :) we'll be able to start teaching her for reals again.
Imelda is also starting to be a missionary herself- she told us that her friend was mormon and she didn't go, turns out it's her sons girlfriends family- hey hey! we're pretty excited to start teaching them too.
we started ward volleyball this week. getting people to bring their friends and have some fun this summer :) I'm sore! pero esta bien.
Anyways.. excited for the new transfer! it will be great! we have some solid potentials we are excited to start teaching.
